Location Share and message usage

Hello, I would like to understand how location sharing and the timing of the breadcrumbs affects: 1) message usage of the plan (I'm trying to figure out which plan to get) and 2) the battery life? I. E. Specifically how much battery life is used with 10 minute vs 60 minute tracking. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

  Hi Mark Adam!

   

  When you add the optional Location Share + add on to your monthly ZOLEO plan,

   

  1) It includes unlimited Location Share updates, but also unlimited regular check-ins as well!

  2) This article will help with rough estimates on how the battery life might be affected. Lots of factors affect battery life of course!

  So if you have the intouch plan and add the location shares for 6 dollars extra, then you get unlimited check in messages, that dont count toward your total message in the plan(250) for the in touch plan?

  Tom Lucas That's correct! You can add the Location Share + feature to any plan tier, including Basic, which provides the Location Share + automatic tracking feature, plus unlimited regular check in messages!
