Recording a video for Android Users:
- Locate the "camera" application on your phone and press the icon to open the application
- Above the shutter button, there is a menu with different options, you should currently be on 'photo', scroll to the right to select 'video'
- Press the record/shutter button (large white circle with red dot in the middle) to begin recording, once you are done recording, press the 'stop' button
Recording a video for iPhone Users:
- Open Camera, then select 'video mode'
- Tap the Record button or press either volume button to start recording
- Tap the Record button or press either volume button to stop recording
How to take a screenshot for Android Users:
- Open the screen that you want to capture.
- Depending on your phone:
- Press the Power and Volume down buttons at the same time.
- If that doesn’t work, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds. Then tap Screenshot.
- At the bottom left, you’ll find a preview of your screenshot. On some phones, at the top of the screen, you'll find Screenshot capture .
How to take a screenshot for iPhone users:
- Hold down the ‘Power’ button and press the ‘Home’ button (at the exact same time).
- If your sound is on, you will hear a camera shutter and see a ‘flash’ on the screen when you take a screenshot.
- Tap on the screenshot preview that appears in the bottom left corner of your screen, then tap ‘Done’.
- Select where you would like to save your screenshot:
- ‘Save to Photos’ – the screenshot will appear in your camera roll and in the Screenshots album of your Photos app.
- ‘Save to Files’ – the screenshot can be saved to your iCloud account.
After Recording a Video/taking a Photo:
After you have recorded a video, either on an Apple phone or Android, you can send the video either through an email attachment or a chat attachment to the ZOLEO support team.
Sending via email:
When writing an email/responding to an email from/to ZOLEO customer support, you can attach photos or videos using your email hosts built in attachment function. Below are guides for the three most popular email hosts:
Gmail:
- Open the email you wish to attach an image/video to
- At the bottom, click Attach .
- Choose the files you want to upload.
- Click Open.
Outlook:

In a new message, a reply, or a forwarded message, select Attach File from the Message ribbon or the Insert ribbon.

Select the file you wish to attach
Yahoo:
- Tap the Attachment Picker icon on the bottom of your screen.
- Attachment Picker Icons from left to right:
- Photos and videos - Items from your camera roll.
- Files on your device - PDFs, DOCs, TXTs, and other files (Android only).
- Recent attachments - Attachments from emails you've sent or received.
- Cloud storage - Link files from cloud storage services you've connected.
- GIF - Browse popular online GIFs or search for something specific.
- Stationery - Add a background image to your email.
- Tap one or more attachments or tap a stationery.
- Tap Done (iOS) or Attach (Android) to include it in your email.
Sending via Chat:
In the chat window open on your computer or phone, there is a small paperclip icon where you can attach a photo or video for the chat agent to see. It is the same process over chat as it is over email, however, the agent will be able to see the image/video right away rather than send you back a response at a later date.
