What Is ZOLEO Data Sharing?
Data sharing allows your ZOLEO messages, location updates, and SOS alerts to flow automatically to a trusted partner’s integrated system. This enables partners to deliver services like safety monitoring, live tracking, and operational messaging—without requiring further action from you once consent is granted.
Some examples of what partners can do with shared data include:
- Send important safety notifications in real time to remote users.
- Track remote users' location and help coordinate team members.
- Receive check-ins and alerts as soon as they happen.
- Monitor travel routes and detect off-course movement.
- Automatically update shared maps during severe weather or emergencies.
These are just a few of the ways data sharing can enhance remote operations and safety. The actual use will depend on your needs.
How To Give Consent
Before a partner system can access ZOLEO data, you'll need to give consent. This ensures your information is only shared with approved systems. The method for providing consent may vary depending on the partner app you're using.
- Email Authorization Link. You'll receive a secure email with a clickable link that will approve the data connection.
- Through MyZOLEO Portal. You can enable sharing manually in your MyZOLEO account under the My Data Sharing tab, following the steps below.
- Via the Partner's App. Some partners may include a ZOLEO consent widget in their app or portal. Please follow the prompts to complete authorization.
Once consent is given, your ZOLEO device will start sending approved data to the partner's system automatically.
