How To Add Location Share+

You can add the Location Share+ feature during the initial activation of your ZOLEO device or later through your ZOLEO online account.

Steps to add Location Share+ during activation:

1. From your MyZOLEO account, navigate to the menu option Devices & Plans, and click on Add New Device+.
2. Complete the activation following How To Activate Your ZOLEO.
3. In step 5 of the activation process, you will be taken to the Add Feature section. 
4. Select the Location Share+ option and continue with your activation by clicking Next.

Note: At the Contacts step of the activation, you can define only one check-in contact. After activation is complete, you can add more Check-In contacts by visiting the Contacts tab under the Devices & Plans page in your online account. You will also have the option to invite your Check-In contacts to download the ZOLEO app if they haven’t already done so.

Steps to add Location Share+ after activation:

1. Log into your MyZOLEO account at https://www.myzoleo.com/. 
2. Navigate to the Devices & Plans menu option. 
3. Locate your ZOLEO device(s) and expand the desired device using the drop-down menu next to the device name.
4. Select the Manage Features tab.
5. Use the Select the default interval drop-down to choose how often your location is updated and how frequently your contacts receive these updates. You can adjust this interval later in the ZOLEO app.
6. Use the Lock the location update interval drop-down to select if you want to lock the update interval so it cannot be changed in the app. This setting can only be modified here if locked and can be turned off anytime.                                                                       
7. Click the Add+ button and a confirmation prompt will be displayed, then press Confirm to continue. The Location Share+ feature will be added to your monthly plan and the feature will become available in the ZOLEO app connected to your device.                                       

Note: Once Location Share+ has been added, navigate to the Contacts tab to ensure that your Check-In contacts are up to date. There you will be able to see which of your contacts will receive your Location Share+ updates and which will not. For contacts that are showing they will not receive Location Share+ updates, send them a link to download the free ZOLEO app.
