These updates are packaged within the app and transferred to your device via Bluetooth, meaning no internet connection is required to update your device. This allows you to perform updates anywhere, anytime.

How To Ensure Your ZOLEO Device Is Up To Date

Update the ZOLEO App: Check your app store to make sure you're using the latest version of the ZOLEO app. Most smartphones are set to update apps automatically.

Connect Your Device: Open the ZOLEO app and connect it to your ZOLEO device. The app will automatically detect the device’s current software version.

Begin the Update: If an update is available, the app will prompt you to start the process. Press OK to begin. The update will be transferred to your device via Bluetooth. Do not interrupt the update while it's in progress.

Completion: Once the update is finished, your device will automatically restart, and the app will notify you that the update is complete.
Important Notes:
If you decline a software update, you may be disconnected from your ZOLEO device. Some updates are necessary for the app and device to work together properly.
If you initially decline the update but want to proceed later, turn your device off and back on to receive the prompt again. If it doesn’t appear, follow these steps:

- Open the ZOLEO app and go to Settings (gear icon).
- Select My Connected ZOLEO Device, then About My Device.
- Tap Device Software Update to bring up the update prompt.
- Press OK to begin the update process, which may take up to 10 minutes. Avoid interruptions during this time.
After the update completes, your ZOLEO device will restart, and you'll receive a notification confirming the update.
