If your ZOLEO device is no longer being used, you may wish to suspend your monthly plan. To suspend your monthly plan, you’ll need to visit the ZOLEO website and log into your account from your smartphone, tablet, or computer web browser. Your monthly plan cannot be paused using the ZOLEO app.
Note: You may only pause your service once per bill cycle (i.e., per month) once you have completed your initial 3-month term.
IMPORTANT: The suspension of your plan takes effect immediately. If you want to continue using your device until the end of your billing cycle, it's recommended not to suspend your plan until you no longer require service.
Steps to Suspend Your Monthly Plan:
- Login at https://www.myzoleo.com/.
- Navigate to the Devices & Plans menu option.
- Locate your ZOLEO device(s) and expand the desired device using the drop-down menu next to the device name.
-
Select Suspend and a confirmation prompt will appear asking if you would like to proceed. Note that this option is only available once you’ve completed your 3-month term.
-
Select Yes, Suspend to confirm, and then press Done.
-
You will receive a confirmation email once your plan suspension is complete.
While suspended:
- Your ZOLEO device will no longer transmit messages via satellite, this includes check-in and SOS messages.
- You will still be able to use your ZOLEO App for sending and receiving app-to-app messages over cellular and Wi-Fi networks.
- Your dedicated ZOLEO SMS number and email address will be reserved and reactivated when you restart your ZOLEO service.
How suspending your plan affects your billing:
- Proration: If you suspend your plan after your billing cycle has started, your plan fees will be prorated. This means you’ll be charged only for the days you were on each plan. The system will automatically credit your account for the unused portion of your previous plan.
- Location Share+: The Location Share+ feature is also suspended when you suspend your plan. If you notice any additional charges besides the Suspension fee, these are related to the proration of the suspension plan for the previous current billing cycle and not for Location Share+.
