Your ZOLEO device includes a micro-USB cable for charging your device. The micro-USB cable can draw power from any active USB port including most vehicle and wall chargers. If you misplace your charging cable, you may replace it with any standard micro-USB cable.
When unboxing your ZOLEO device for the first time, you’ll need to charge the battery before turning it on and connecting to the ZOLEO App.
It is recommended to fully charge your ZOLEO device. For best performance charge your device often and never leave it without a charge.
Warning: Do not keep your ZOLEO device plugged into a charger for extended periods of time. Your device contains internal charging circuitry to manage the battery and minimize degradation to the cells however leaving it on the charger for extended periods can damage cells over time and reduce battery performance.
Battery charging temperature range is 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F). Outside of this temperature range will display a warning in the ZOLEO App and a charging fault via the Power LED on the ZOLEO device.
To charge your ZOLEO device:
1. Open the protective USB cover.
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the USB port on the ZOLEO device and the vehicle or wall charger. Using a USB-compliant charger that can supply a minimum of 1.5 A is recommended. This is typical of any modern smartphone charger.
3. While charging is in progress, the Power LED is lit amber and will change to green when fully charged. If the ZOLEO device is on, the LED will flash at regular intervals.
