Overview
This article reviews the first invoice information such as the cost of the first invoice and the various charges you might see after activating. You can review your invoices through your MyZOLEO portal (clicking here opens it in a new tab) under the Invoices menu.
Invoicing depends on your region, and you can see our monthly plan costs at www.zoleo.com/plans and by selecting the proper region.
How invoicing works
After activation of your first ZOLEO device, an invoice is generated typically within 1 business day. Here's more information about what you can expect on the first invoice.
- Your first invoice includes two charges:
- A subscription fee equivalent to one (1) month based on the plan selected, and
- An activation fee
- The activation date becomes the account's billing date. This is also the first day of the account's monthly bill cycle.
- The first month's services are for the upcoming month, and end on the following month a day before the billing starts. (i.e. your billing date is the 16th of each month, billing period ends on 15th of following month).
NOTE: If you activate on a calendar date of the 29th, 30th, or 31st of the month, your first month's services are prorated as the billing system will adjust your billing date to the 28th of the month.
What is the account balance?
You might see a balance on your account in the MyZOLEO portal before the invoice is generated and published. This balance includes "billing in progress", and the invoice showing details of the balance will be generated within a business day.
When will payments be pulled?
Your account's payment method (credit card or debit credit card) will be charged on the same day or the day after your invoice is generated.
Why does my credit card show a pending transaction?
Your credit card statement may show multiple transactions. The first transaction shown on your statement is the credit card preauthorization. This ensures sufficient funds are available prior to processing payment.
The preauthorized amount is not charged, and shows up in the pending transactions. The second transaction is the actual payment processed, and will show in your card's posted transactions..
