How do I start and stop Location Share+ from my ZOLEO device?

A Location Share+ automatic location sharing session can be started or stopped directly from your ZOLEO device, or within the ZOLEO app. This article covers starting and stopping a location-sharing session using your ZOLEO device.

Starting a Location Share+ session from your device

1. To start a location sharing session, press and hold the Check-In button on your ZOLEO device for 3 seconds.
2. A positive audible tone will be emitted and the LEDs on your ZOLEO device will begin to spin green. This means your first automatic location update is in progress.
3. Once your automatic location update has been successfully sent, your device will emit the successfully sent audible tone and the Check-In LED will begin to double flash. This indicates that an automatic location-sharing session is active.

Stopping a Location Share+ session from your device

1. To stop a location sharing session, press and hold the Check-In button on your ZOLEO device for 3 seconds.
2. A positive audible tone will be emitted and the LEDs on your ZOLEO device will begin to spin green. This means your final automatic location update is in progress.
3. Once your final automatic location update has been successfully sent, your device will emit the successfully sent audible tone and the Check-In LED will no longer double flash. This indicates that the automatic location sharing session has ended.
