Airplane mode is not recommended when using the ZOLEO app or ZOLEO device. While airplane mode settings may vary by phone, enabling it can turn off Bluetooth connections and affect its GPS location services.
Instead of using airplane mode, it’s better to turn off individual services like Wi-Fi and cellular data when in remote areas. This will help conserve battery life while maintaining Bluetooth and GPS functionality.
If you do use airplane mode and experience location or Bluetooth connectivity issues please check that Bluetooth and location services are enabled on your phone settings.
