This article explains what to expect during the activation process and what to do if your ZOLEO device activation is delayed.
What to Expect During Activation
- When you activate your ZOLEO device, the process typically takes from 10 to 30 minutes.
- Once complete, you'll receive a confirmation email, and your device status will change to Active in the Devices & Plans section of your account at myZOLEO.com.
- During peak times or system maintenance, activations may take longer, up to 2 hours.
If there's an active service maintenance causing the delays, a banner will appear at the top of the ZOLEO website with more information.
While You Wait
No troubleshooting is needed while the activation is in progress. However:
- If your device status shows "Pending", the activation is still being processed.
- If you didn't receive a confirmation email, check your spam or junk folder.
- If you recently submitted your activation and it's taking too long to complete, try updating your payment method. Sometimes activations get stuck because payments cannot be processed.

- Please see: How To Update Your Payment Method.

If More Than 2 Hours Have Passed
If your activation is still showing as Pending after two hours, please contact our ZOLEO Technical Support Team. To help us resolve the issue faster, please have the following information ready:
- Device IMEI number – This 15-digit number (starting with "30") can be found on the back of your ZOLEO device or in the box it came in.
- Account number or billing address for verification – Log into your MyZOLEO account at myzoleo.com and go to the My Account section. Your account number is displayed in the top-left panel (e.g., "ZU00000"), and your billing address is shown in the lower right, under Billing Address.
- The approximate time and date you submitted your activation request.
Once you've gathered this information, please reach out to our team. We'll be happy to assist you with the next steps.
