If your ZOLEO device is no longer being used and will not be used for an extended time, you may wish to cancel your monthly plan. To cancel your monthly plan, you’ll need to visit the ZOLEO website and log in to your account from your smartphone, tablet, or computer web browser. Your monthly plan cannot be canceled using the ZOLEO app.
If you are only not going to use your device temporarily, you might be more interested in suspending your plan instead. You can review the Difference Between Cancel and Suspend for more information.
IMPORTANT: The deactivation of your plan takes effect immediately. If you want to continue using your device until the end of your billing cycle, it's recommended not to cancel your plan until you no longer require service.
Steps to Cancel Your Monthly Plan:
- Login at https://www.myzoleo.com/.
- When logged in, you will see your account information at the top. Go to the My Account drop-down menu and select the Devices & Plans menu option.
- Locate your ZOLEO device(s) and expand the desired device using the drop-down menu next to the device name.
- Look for the Deactivate button under the Other Details section.
- Select Deactivate and a confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to proceed. Note If canceling within your 90-day contract term, an early cancellation fee will apply.
-
You will receive a confirmation email once your plan deactivation is complete.
When you deactivate:
- Your ZOLEO device will no longer transmit messages via satellite
- You can still use your ZOLEO App to send and receive app-to-app messages over cellular and Wi-Fi networks.
- Your ZOLEO SMS number and email address will be disconnected and cannot be recovered in the future.
- If you reactivate, an activation fee will be charged and your account will be subject to the 3-month term contract again.
