The ZOLEO App bases your temperature units on your mobile device's settings. Here's how to change the temperature units for Android and iOS Devices.
Android Devices - Language Settings
To adjust temperature units on your Android device, follow these instructions from Google Support:
- Visit the Google Support article.
- Refer to the section titled "Change the language on your Android device."
When this language is set to "US" English, the ZOLEO App will use Fahrenheit. For Celsius, select Canadian (CAN), Australian (AUS), New Zealand (NZ), or UK English.
iOS Devices - Temperature Units
To change the temperature unit on iOS devices, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap General.
- Select Language & Region.
- Select Temperature.
- Choose your preferred unit (Fahrenheit or Celsius).

My android device is already setup for English (United States), yet I am still getting weather in METRIC. Any other advice?
Hi Ken Hadden,
There was a bug with the most recent app update that locked weather units to metric.
There was a hotfix that was deployed to the Play Store yesterday, so if you double check you have the latest version of the ZOLEO app, this issue should now be fixed.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
I have 3.1.7-91 installed. And the play store does not show an update.
That is the latest version containing the hotfix. Can you verify that your weather is now showing in Imperial units?
I can verify that 3.1.7-91 is now showing the correct units on my phone. English units, not metric. Finally!!!!, it sure took long enough to get that fixed!
Neil
Just used the device this weekend to check the weather and all is good with the latest firmware.
Thanks!
