The Global Rescue Field Rescue Membership covers expenses incurred for field rescue transportation services. You can purchase a Field Rescue Membership during ZOLEO device activation or from Safety Add-Ons in your MyZOLEO account.

Key Details & Information
- Available only to ZOLEO subscribers with at least one active or paused device. The membership is held at the account level and is not tied to a specific device.
- Each membership covers one individual (84 years of age or younger). Multiple memberships can be purchased under the same account for family members or users of the same device.
- No claim process — membership verification occurs at the time of the incident.
- Membership purchases are non-refundable.
- Full terms and conditions are available in the Member Services Agreement (MSA).
- Non-Field Rescue membership purchases are handled directly by Global Rescue. When you select one of these memberships through your MyZOLEO account, you'll be redirected to Global Rescue's purchase page with a 5% discount automatically applied.

Membership Benefits
Included
- Field Rescue: Emergency evacuation services from the point of injury or illness.
- Hospital Transport: Transportation to the nearest appropriate medical facility.
- Annual services maximum: Up to $50,000 per incident. One rescue per year for injury or illness.
Excluded
- Search operations.
- High-risk activities.
- Altitudes above 15,000 feet (4,600 meters).
- Individuals aged 85 and older (only travelers aged 84 and younger are eligible).
How To Purchase & Manage Your Membership
You can purchase a Global Rescue Field Rescue Membership:
- During ZOLEO device activation
- From the Safety Add-Ons page in your MyZOLEO account
Purchase During Activation
During ZOLEO device activation, you can select a Global Rescue Field Rescue Membership when Safety Add-Ons are offered and continue through checkout.
Purchase From Safety Add-Ons
- Log in to MyZOLEO.
- Go to the "Safety Add-Ons" section in the left-hand menu.
- Select "Subscribe below" on the Global Rescue Field Rescue Membership.
- Enter the details (first name, last name, mobile number, email, and age) for each person you want to add.
- To add more people, click "Add Person."
- Accept the Global Rescue Field Rescue Member Services Agreement by checking the box.
- Click "Submit."
- You will be taken to a secure checkout where you can choose your payment method. Check that all the information is correct and click "Place Order."
Confirmation Email
After purchasing, you will receive a confirmation email with:
- A description of your membership.
- Your membership start date (1 day after the purchase date).
- Your membership automatic renewal date.
- A link to the Terms and Conditions.
Invoice
After purchasing, your invoice will be available in MyZOLEO under My Account > Billing History.
NOTE: Your new invoice may take 1 business day to generate. If your invoice is not showing in your account after this, please contact our Customer Experience team at Contact Us. The billing delay for new ZOLEO device activations does not apply to Field Rescue Membership purchases.
Membership Renewal & Cancellation
- Auto-renewal: Your membership renews automatically one year after purchase. You will receive an email 30 days before the renewal date.
- You can view each covered person’s membership status, start date, and auto-renewal or expiration date from Safety Add-Ons in MyZOLEO.
- To cancel auto-renewal, go to Safety Add-Ons and select the cancellation option for the applicable membership.
- Cancelling auto-renewal does not end the membership immediately. It remains active until the end of the current paid membership term.
- Cancelling a ZOLEO device plan does not cancel your Field Rescue Membership. The membership is managed separately from Safety Add-Ons and remains available until the last date of its current term.
How Does It Work?
- If you press the SOS button on your ZOLEO device, standard emergency procedures are activated.
- Your device information (from MyZOLEO) is sent to the Global Rescue Emergency Response Center.
- If you are using the ZOLEO app, your registered name and phone number are also shared with Global Rescue.
- Global Rescue checks if you have an active membership based on your name and phone number.
- If your device is in standalone mode, Global Rescue will verify your membership.
- Emergency response personnel will be dispatched based on your situation.
- If transportation is required:
- If your membership covers the full cost, Global Rescue will pay for it.
- If you do not have a membership, you will be responsible for the transport cost.
