ZOLEO Bluetooth Coverage Range Distance

This article explains the Bluetooth range between your ZOLEO device and the ZOLEO app.

These specifications apply to both the ZOLEO 1000 and the ZOLEO 1500.

Bluetooth Range

The ZOLEO device uses Bluetooth LE 5.2. Your smartphone or tablet can communicate with your ZOLEO device using Bluetooth at a range of up to 50 m (164 ft).

Actual Bluetooth range may vary depending on your surroundings. Walls, buildings, trees, terrain, vehicles, and other obstacles can reduce the effective range.

The ZOLEO app will notify you when your ZOLEO device has lost contact with your phone.

For the most reliable connection, keep your smartphone or tablet within Bluetooth range of your ZOLEO device whenever possible.

Tips for the Best Bluetooth Connection

To help maintain a stable Bluetooth connection:

• Keep your smartphone or tablet within 50 m (164 ft) of your ZOLEO device.
• Maintain a clear line of sight between the devices whenever possible.
• Reduce obstacles such as walls, buildings, or dense vegetation between the devices.
• Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet.

If your device disconnects, move closer to your ZOLEO device and wait a few moments for the Bluetooth connection to re-establish automatically.
