If a ZOLEO Track shared map does not open, check whether the problem affects the shared map link or the secure access link sent to your email.
The map owner controls the shared link’s expiration and availability.
ZOLEO Track Shows “Link Not Valid”
A Link not valid message means the shared map is no longer available through that link. The link may have expired or been revoked.
An incomplete or incorrectly copied link may also prevent access.
To check the link:
- Open the complete link from the original message.
- If you copied the link, check that no characters are missing.
- If the error continues, ask the owner to check the link in ZOLEO Track.
ZOLEO Track Shows “Link Expired”
A Link expired message means the shared map link has reached its expiration date. If you are viewing someone else’s map, ask the owner to create a new link.
A ZOLEO Track Access Email Has Not Arrived
ZOLEO sends a secure access link only if the email address you submit is on the shared map’s approved recipient list.
If an access email has not arrived:
- Check the spelling of the email address you entered.
- Make sure you are checking the same inbox the owner invited.
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Use the Resend link to request another email.
- If the email still does not arrive, ask the owner to check the recipient list and the shared link’s status.
If the owner invited the wrong address, they can update the recipient list in ZOLEO Track. You do not need a ZOLEO account or a verification code to access an invited map.
Access to a ZOLEO Track Map Stops While You Are Viewing It
A shared map can stop being available if the owner revokes its link or the link expires. Revocation takes effect immediately, including for guests who already have the map open.
Contact the owner to confirm whether they intended to stop sharing.
If the link expired, the owner can assign a new expiration date. If it was revoked, the owner must create a new shared link to provide access again.
For an invited map, also ask the owner to check that your email address remains on the approved recipient list.
ZOLEO Track Shows “Nothing to Show Yet”
A Nothing to show yet message means there is no activity available to display for the shared map.
This is different from an expired or revoked link. A valid link may open before the shared device has reported activity.
Check the map again later. If the screen includes Try again, use it to retry loading the map.
ZOLEO Track Shows an Email or Request Error
If ZOLEO Track displays Enter a valid email address, check that you entered a complete email address without typing errors.
A correctly formatted address must still be on the owner’s approved recipient list to receive access.
