What Is ZOLEO Data Sharing?
ZOLEO data sharing allows approved information to flow automatically between your ZOLEO account and an integrated partner application. Depending on the partner and the consent you provide, shared information may include messages, location updates, check-ins, and SOS alerts.
An integrated partner may use ZOLEO data sharing to:
- Send important safety notifications in real time to remote users.
- Track remote users' location and help coordinate team members.
- Receive check-ins and alerts as soon as they happen.
- Monitor travel routes and detect off-course movement.
- Automatically update shared maps during severe weather or emergencies.
These are just a few of the ways data sharing can enhance remote operations and safety. The actual use will depend on your needs.
How To Give Consent for ZOLEO Data Sharing
You must authorize an integrated partner application before it can access your approved ZOLEO data. The consent method depends on the partner.
You may provide consent using:
- An email authorization link: Open the secure link sent to your email address and follow the instructions.
- MyZOLEO: Enable the connection from the My Data Sharing section under Devices & Plans.
- The partner application: Follow the authorization prompts provided in the partner’s app or online portal.
After you provide consent, ZOLEO will begin sharing the approved data with the integrated partner application.
