Each ZOLEO device is assigned a unique SMS number that allows contacts to send messages directly to your ZOLEO device and the ZOLEO app, even when you are outside cellular coverage.
This number remains active as long as your service stays active.
When You May Need to Change Your SMS Number
You may need a new ZOLEO SMS number if you are experiencing:
- Spam or unwanted messages
- Misrouted messages
- Ongoing issues related to your existing number
How to Request a New ZOLEO SMS Number
If you need a new SMS number, follow these steps:
- Visit the ZOLEO Contact Us page: ZOLEO – Contact Us
- Fill out the contact form and explain why you need a new SMS number (e.g., spam, message issues).
- A support agent will review your account and assign a new ZOLEO SMS number if appropriate.
Once updated, your new ZOLEO SMS number will be active immediately and ready for use.
Your new SMS number will be applied to your device, and you can continue using your ZOLEO service as usual.
