Legacy ZOLEO Track Shared Activity Links
Important: Beginning July 22, 2026, legacy ZOLEO Track shared activity links will no longer work.
To continue sharing device activity, sign in to your MyZOLEO account, open ZOLEO Track, and create a new shared activity link. Anyone using a legacy link will need the new link to continue viewing the shared activity.
Existing legacy links cannot be converted or updated. The device owner must create and share a new link from the current version of ZOLEO Track.
What Is a ZOLEO Track Shared Activity Link?
A ZOLEO Track shared activity link lets you share a read-only view of your ZOLEO Track map with another person. Anyone with the link can open it in a mobile or desktop web browser without signing in to MyZOLEO or using the ZOLEO app.
A shared activity link can include one or multiple ZOLEO devices. Viewers can see activity generated between the time the link is created and its expiration date, including location points, device status, and activity displayed in the activity panel.
Anyone with the shared activity link can view the shared activity until the link expires. Treat the link as private information and share it only with people you want to have access to the map.
How To Create and Share a ZOLEO Track Shared Activity Link
You can create a shared activity link from ZOLEO Track and share it using your preferred communication app, such as email, SMS, or a messaging app.
To create and share a ZOLEO Track activity link:
- Log in to your MyZOLEO account.
- Open ZOLEO Track.
- Select the Share button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Select the ZOLEO device or devices you want to include.
- Select how long you want the shared activity link to remain active.
- Copy the generated link.
- Share the link using your preferred communication app.
Note: ZOLEO Track does not send email invitations automatically. After creating the shared activity link, copy the link and share it manually.
The Share activity window is open in the lower-left corner. The window includes options to select shared devices, set a link expiration date, and copy the activity link. A yellow arrow points toward the Share button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
How ZOLEO Track Shared Activity Link Expiration Works
Every shared activity link has an expiration date. By default, the link expires the following day, and you can choose an expiration date up to 180 days in the future.
Viewers can see all activity generated between the time the link is created and its expiration date. This includes any new activity generated while the link remains active.
You cannot currently edit, revoke, or resend an existing shared activity link. If you need to change the expiration date or the selected devices, create a new shared activity link.
What Shared-Link Viewers Can Access
Anyone with a shared activity link can view the information included in that link, but they cannot access your MyZOLEO account or manage your devices.
| Shared-link viewers can | Shared-link viewers cannot |
|---|---|
| View the shared ZOLEO Track map | Sign in to your MyZOLEO account |
| View location history and activity | View billing or account information |
| View device status | Change device settings |
| Open the link from a mobile or desktop browser | Send messages from your account |
| Use Locate when it is available for an eligible device | Manage your subscription or devices |
Shared Activity Link Messages and Their Meanings
Nothing to Show Yet
You may see Nothing to show yet if the selected ZOLEO device has not generated any activity since the shared activity link was created.
The map updates automatically as new activity is generated during the sharing period.
Link Not Valid
You may see Link not valid if:
- The shared activity link has expired.
- The link is a legacy ZOLEO Track shared activity link that stopped working after July 22, 2026.
- The link is incomplete.
- The link was copied incorrectly.
- The link has been altered.
If the link is a legacy link or has expired, the device owner must sign in to MyZOLEO, open ZOLEO Track, and create a new shared activity link. If the link was copied incorrectly, ask the sender to share the complete original link again.
Try Again
The shared activity link error screen may include a Try Again button.
Select Try Again if the shared activity link was recently created or refreshed and your browser may still be displaying outdated information.
