To cancel your ZOLEO monthly plan, log in to your account at myzoleo.com from a smartphone, tablet, or computer web browser. Your monthly plan cannot be canceled using the ZOLEO app.
If you only need a temporary break from service, pausing your plan may be a better option. It keeps your ZOLEO SMS number and email address on hold at a low monthly fee, with no reactivation fee when you return. Please see the Difference Between Cancel and Pause for a full comparison.
Before You Cancel
Cancellation takes effect immediately. Your plan is deactivated at the moment you confirm the cancellation, and the service does not continue until the end of your billing cycle.
If you want to keep using your device until your billing period ends, wait to cancel until you no longer need service.
Note: A 3-month minimum term applies to all active ZOLEO plans. If you cancel before completing your 3-month term, an early cancellation fee will apply.
Example: The early cancellation fee covers the remaining months of your 3-month term. Because ZOLEO bills at the start of each billing cycle, any month you've already been billed for is not charged again.
- If you cancel during Month 1: You haven't yet been billed for Months 2 or 3, so the early cancellation fee equals two months of your plan fee.
- If you cancel during Month 2: You've already been billed for Month 2 at the start of that cycle, so the early cancellation fee equals one month of your plan fee (Month 3 only).
- If you cancel during Month 3: You've already been billed for Month 3, so no early cancellation fee applies.

What Happens When You Cancel
Once your ZOLEO plan is canceled, the following changes take effect immediately:
- Your ZOLEO device will no longer transmit messages via satellite.
- You can still use the ZOLEO app to send and receive app-to-app messages over cellular and Wi-Fi.
- Your ZOLEO SMS number and email address will be permanently released and cannot be recovered, even if you reactivate later.
- If you reactivate in the future, a one-time activation fee will apply, and your plan cannot be paused until you've completed your three-month term.
Important notice for customers on legacy plans: If you're currently on a legacy ZOLEO plan (Basic, In Touch, or Unlimited) and you cancel, any future reactivation will be on the current plan structure (Prepare or Protect). You won't be able to return to your legacy plan or pricing. If you'd like to understand your options before canceling, please contact our Customer Experience Team at Contact Us.
